Al final queda en el recuerdo por la edicion del total de la escena .....mientras unos oian el concierto leeloo luchaba en la nave .....buen reportaje buen trabajo de la actriz improvisada .....y buena idea en la edicion final !!

4:23 why I have a strong feeling that she lipsync this part ? Like, why's she nod at 4:33 we can't see her lips ? And the way she dress to hide her neck so we can't see her muscle when she sing.

I saw an interview with the actress and she said she prepared for the acting including the singing for thee months. So it was not lip singing

I remember the first time I saw the diva on my screen as a young person. And let me tell you... it still gives me chillz when I see it to this day. I'm right back, in my living room, totally captivated and enthralled with her phenomenal performance.

It's Sarah Brightman's voice we hear and she is terrific. Even so, she could not manage the rapid coloratura of the "disco" section. Quite a few pitches are synthesizer cut-ins, which sound very obvious now.

There is a saying about that some parents should never have had children because they were the worst kind of parents. The other reason is because those bad parents bring up children who have no appreciation for anything. I thought this woman's act was amazing & unique, all those ppl saying negative things about her act could not do anything as amazing as this actress has done in that movie & their negative opinions show they had bad parenting.

All the money and time spent on the costume and filming but they couldn't spend $5 on some glue or silicon to keep her "horn" on back of head stiff or solid..........every time it moves or creases the scene is dead.

Rachelle Farelle could do this in a heartbeat!

I think that exactly the right amount was in the film. Don't get me wrong, I actually like opera, but the cuts were made for a reason - timing. As this was cut in with the fight scene, it was important to make it fit so that the end of the song coordinated with the end of the fight. Then the shot that brought the Diva down witnessed by the audience. This is supposed to be a fairly tight scene. I didn't actually think the dance and song part cut wasn't essential, but that's just my opinion. Nice to see the whole thing, I will admit.

Wish they would release an uncut version of movie and add cut scenes

This took a lot of effort. She had to coordinate her movements , including lips, to fit the actual singer's performance- and come up with the dramatic flare that the movie producers wanted. It would have been more interesting if she was acting around bodies. As I recall this was a mourning song for a dead lover, and family. Apparently the producers wanted to surprise the rest of the cast- they had no clue what they were going to see.

The movie version was beautiful. IMHO it was long enough.

Uhm.. Yeah sure it's entertaining but what's the hype. It is pretty.. But only lip sync. the actual singer should get the praise. Everybody can lip sync.. That's literally why we have another 'star' every week. Don't get me wrong, I love the character... But... It's lip syncing.. Not another world wonder

This was my most favorite part of the movie!! I always wanted to see the entire performance!! So so glad I got to! AMAZING!! ♥️♥️

Though the whole dance didn't survive the cut for the movie, this footage becomes an inspiration for the Baal Zebul dance in Bayonetta 3.

I am not a fan of the opera. However, when I heard this song performed in the Fifth Element, I was just captivated. It was like the song resonated through my soul. And, I've found a new appreciation for this genre.

She is missing 4 more arms, 😂

I remember watching this in the theatre and just being speechless.
